The Calendar Page is divided into two sections.  The first section is embeleshed with large date emblems containing date information for the current week and the next three to four weeks in the future.  This date information describes Sunday and special presentation events. Each event listed will contain information about orchestra configuration and anthems

The second section of the Calendar page will contain a list of future dates that will be shared with the choir as future choral events are developed or the Music Office is made aware of.

 

The list of last December events serve as an example of a date list of "future events" beyond the near term present week and four to five weeks described in the first section.

Important Dates in December

 

THIS Sun. December 6 - Processional rehearsal in the Sanctuary, 1:30 - 3:30pm (NEW time).

 

Wed, December 9 - Technical rehearsal with choir, orchestra, and children in the Sanctuary, 6:30-9:00pm.

 

Sat. December 12 - Dress rehearsal with choir and orchestra in the Sanctuary, 9:30am-12:30pm.

 

Sun. December 13 - Presentation #1 of Christmas at Park Cities, 4:00pm, call time for choir is 2:45pm.

 

Wed, December 16 - Rehearsal in the Sanctuary w/ orchestra for Christmas Eve followed by the Christmas party in the Choral Hall, 6:45 - 8:30pm.

 

Sun. December 20 - Presentations #2 and #3 of Christmas at Park Cities, 9:15 and 10:45am, in the Sanctuary, call time for choir is 8:15am.

 

Wed. December 23 - NO REHEARSAL

 

Thurs, December 24, Christmas Eve services - Choir sings at 6 and 8pm services, call time for choir is 5:30pm.

 

Sunday, December 27 - one combined service at lOam in the Sanctuary, no Connect classes, call time is 9:30am.

 

Wed. December 30 - NO REHEARSAL

 

 

Repertoire page guide

The Repertoire Page contains Sunday Anthems for the next three to five weeks.  Clicking/Taping on any of the anthems with launch a web page in a separate window.  This "Anthem" page will always contains four items.

1) An image of the anthem cover

2) A PDF button that will launch a new window containing a PDF of the anthem

3) A link to download an MP3 audio recording to your local desktop or mobile device.

4) An audio player applet that will play a publisher's cut recording of the anthem with choir and accompaniment (or of another chorale group when a publisher's cut is not available).

An optional fifth item will be provided as needed --  notation vidoes for S A T B parts

From time to time, a button for special choral program event such as Easter service, Christmas Program, Christmas Eve or Spring Work, etc. will be placed on the Repertoire Page.  This special program button will open a separate webpage containing a listing of music recordings and other information / tools to aid on learning this special music work.
