One cannot look at the photo from our presentation Sunday evening and not be reminded of the passage from Acts Chapter 2. One can only imagine what the Day of Pentecost must have been like for the apostles when they were filled with the Holy Spirit as promised by Jesus as recorded in John 14.
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
Acts 2:1-4
In our case, we "spoke" this night in the "language" of music to our community, the celebration of the arrival of a Child, a Savior and a King and with His arrival the Gospel Gift of Redemption. May God continue to equip His church with the power of His Spirit so that He will be glorified among all people of all nations. The work of Christmas continues...
